Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to make bookings. Use the app only for lawful travel planning and discovery.

2. Third-party bookings & affiliates

IslandGuide is a directory and booking intermediary. Hotels, ferries, dive operators and tours are provided by third parties; any booking is a contract between you and that vendor. Affiliate links may earn us a commission.

3. Vendor subscriptions

Sponsored listings renew monthly or annually via Stripe until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Booking commissions via Stripe Connect are split automatically.

4. Map disclaimer & liability

Map pins, routes, offline maps, schedules and opening hours are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". Use caution on trails (e.g. The Quill) and at open-water dive sites. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

5. User content

By posting reviews or photos you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them. No false, abusive or infringing content; you can report or block abusive users, and we may remove content without notice.

6. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction].
